Why do I need folders?

  • Folders are used to manage and organize your assignment files.

  • Use the weekly assignment checklists. They tell you what to do, when to do it, and when it is due. Weekly checklists tell you when to download a module/chapter folder that corresponds with the chapter in the textbook.

  • The analogy for the folder is a 3-ring notebook binder. Instead of having a bulky, awkward 3-ring binder to put your printed assignments in, you will have a folder to save your files into - no printing.

  • Save completed assignment files in the folders.

  • CIS 100, CIS 111, Excel 1 and Excel 2: Every week you will turn in your folder on my shared Google Drive. Instructions for this are in your Week 1 checklist. This is how I record attendance.
  • CIS 149: Turn in completed file in MindTap drop box.

  • Whatever you turn in to me will serve as a backup of your work.
